A native control room for your Claude Code agents

The overview

What is devpit?

devpit is a native desktop app for running Claude Code agents. It provides a terminal for observing agent activity, a board where moving a card starts real work, per-call cost visibility, and an orchestrator that can view multiple projects at once. The product is local-first and open source, giving developers a desktop control room for coordinating their coding agents.

Inside the toolkit

Key features

Keep coding agent work in one window

devpit brings agent chat, terminal, board, costs, files, diffs and a browser pane into one project workspace.

Run project workflows from a board

Organize work as cards and columns; moving a card can start its configured step, which then stops for review.

Keep sessions alive after closing the app

Sessions continue running in tmux when the devpit window closes.

Set a spending cap for each call

A board column sets a spending ceiling and each card shows its actual cost.
